Accused and Defiant by M. Lee Adams
This is an ekphrastic piece based on a painting by other-worldly artist Elaine Weiner-Reed. The painting is called The Gathering. I experienced this painting at Elaine’s show at beautiful MONTPELIER ARTS CENTER LIBRARY GALLERY.
The Gathering took my breath away. It was one of those moments when the words came to me in one lump. Even now, a year later, I can feel every word.
